fark, i just woke up.. this is getting bad..im becoming nocturnal.. when does your school term start?

they use a dirty trick which McCrap uses..

the smell of caramelising sugar... that stimulates the body into demanding sugar and carbohydrates..

well McD isnt tat tempting as this though... Desserts are usually more tempting if they are displayed properly... I guess the visual plays a big part and being singaporean, we always have this mindset of a long queue means something good or value for money

though I already had coffeebeans raspberry cheese on friday, I'll have another one today to pamper me for working on monday i know it's a lame excuse...

yeah it does... Makes me tempted to go in and buy one before I go home everyday... especially after a day of work...

it's even more insidious than that..

the caramelising smell is in their 'bun' which makes the poor sap who eats their burger want to eat more.. and since they're in McShit's already, they'll go order some more simulated food to eat...

being unsatisfying, the poor sap will end up overeating..

guess I'm immune to it then... I dun usually take McD and BK unless I dont have a choice... I prefer Carl's JR over McD and Bk if we're not talking abt breakfast... I used to love BK's breakfast but the crossiant now is terrible... McD breakfast still taste like crap >.>

I swear, people have been going to eat there more often just so that they have more chances to win..... you can see the McDonalds Monopoly threads in sgforums.....

I used to be a mcd big breakfast fan but have switched to a much tastier, more filling, abeit slightly more expensive option. TCC's american breakfast. Generous portion of scrambled eggs, bacon, half a tomato, 2 sausages, chopped mushrooms, 2 small pieces of french loaf with butter and raspberry jam, and (good) coffee.

and no, I don't eat this everyday. just once in a while. and I'd skip lunch on the days I have this breakfast.

the Kuishin Bo sushi and sashimi is surprisingly good!

the beef sushi is wonderful...

the salmon sashimi is bloody excellent too...

Tat looks tempting... how much is TCC's breakfast? my breakfast from breadtalk quite expensive actually... 4 piece of bread = $6

Yeah~ I still remember my first time eating there few years ago... was quite surprise with the freshness too... I'm waiting till next month so I can treat my mother to dinner there... Last year when I ate there near xmas, they had freeflow CHEESE BAKED LOBSTER~

oh and if you order their premium blend coffees(usually $5 to $7) with breakfast, you only pay $1.60. the breakfast already includes their normal coffee, which is already light years ahead of mcd.

but most days my breakfast is very cheap. a boiled egg(or two) and a single serving of fruit, with herbal tea.

i think sewerage is only slightly worse than McCrap's simulated coffee
